Dalet Flex

Dalet Flex is a smart media management system that helps TV stations, production houses, and content creators organize and share their video and audio files. It works like a super-organized digital library where teams can quickly find, edit, and send out videos without hunting through messy hard drives. It uses S3-compatible object storage as a giant, reliable warehouse in the cloud that holds all the actual video files safely and cheaply. This storage approach lets Dalet Flex grow as your media collection gets bigger without needing expensive custom servers. Teams can access the exact same high-quality files from anywhere in the world while the system automatically handles backups and smooth playback.

Important: Path-Style Requests Required

DiskSpace.sh requires path-style URLs. Dalet Flex must be configured to use path-style addressing instead of virtual-hosted style.

Example Configuration
Endpoint: https://s3.diskspace.sh
Access Key: AKIAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Secret Key: ****************************************
Region: us-east-1
Path Style: Enabled (Required)
Bucket: your-bucket-name
Troubleshooting Tips
  • Ensure the endpoint does not contain the bucket name.
  • Verify that "Force Path Style" or "Path Style Access" is enabled in Dalet Flex.
  • Check that your Access Key and Secret Key are correct and have sufficient permissions.
  • If connection fails, try setting Region to us-east-1 or leaving it blank.
  • Confirm the bucket exists in your DiskSpace.sh account before testing.
